Angel Olsen
Angel Olsen is an American musician and singer originally from St. Louis, Missouri who resides in Asheville North Carolina. Olsen has released six albums to date: Burn Your fire, no witness My woman All mirrors Whole new mess and Big Time. My mother just has this capacity for children. The previous album All Mirrors from 2019 featured darker, gothic-sounding synth-rock with deeply affecting excursions into orchestral pop. On Big Time the first album that Olsen sings with a conscious focus on queer desire she turns to a notably tradition-bound genre known as country. It makes sense.
